Doctors Academy scholarship programmes

As part of our commitment to support the educational aspirations of students from resource poor backgrounds, Doctors Academy funds scholarship and fellowship programmes globally.  These awards are available to students in various stages of their student lives to enable initiate or sustain their educational needs, be it at a primary school or at University level.  The scholarship programmes are intended for children and young adolescents (<18 years of age) and thus primarily supports their schooling.  Fellowships are awarded to students who are in need of financial assistance to pursue their undergraduate and/or postgraduate university/diploma education.  Fellowship programmes (Manu Fellowships) specifically designed for girls/female students from difficult backgrounds in resource poor nations are also available.  All our programmes are open to students from all parts of the world, irrespective of their nationality, ethnicity or religious background.  The number of scholarships and fellowships will vary year-on-year depending on available funding and demand.

Where does our funding come from?

All charity work of Doctors Academy group is currently self-supported and self-funded; all programmes are funded by the generosity of the members working within the organisation and also from the income generated from various professional business activities undertaken by Doctors Academy. Doctors academy does not accept any money or funding from members of the public nor any organisation or agency towards any of its scholarship/fellowship programmes.  However, if you wish to be involved in participating in this endeavour, Doctors Academy will be able to direct interested parties to the appropriate school/organisation which requires financial support.  Thus, if you are a member of the public (any country) or is an organisation/company who wish to support a child’s/student’s education in a short-term or on a long-term basis, then please contact us at support@doctorsacademy.org.uk. In exceptional circumstances, Doctors Academy may decide to offer a donor/sponsor to set-up their own scholarship or fellowship programme within Doctors Academy if it is satisfied with the source of income of the donor, their integrity and values, and if the donor demonstrates a genuine commitment towards the development and well-being of citizens globally.
