| | | | | | | | | | | | | | About Jodi Lestner | Jodi Lestner is currently studying Medicine at Manchester University, United Kingdom (www.manchester.ac.uk). A keen academic throughout her undergraduate training, Jodi has attained several honours, distinction grades and awards - namely the Medical Prize and Scholarship Fund Award in 2005 and the prestigious Amit Atul Shah Prize for Academic Excellence in 2006. She intends to pursue a career in academic medicine and is planning to intercalate a Masters in Research programme during her medical training.
Jodi has a keen interest in International Medicine and is the chairperson of the Medical Foundation Student Society (www.torturecare.org.uk), an international organisation caring for the victims of torture. She has been actively involved in facilitating the development of medical educational programmes in resource-poor settings. Jodi is also an Exchange Officer and a committee member of an International Exchange Programme (www.ismsa.org) at Manchester University. |
