| | | | | | | | | | | | | About Dr. Eva-Lisa Heinrichs | In the capacity of European Medical Director of ConvaTec, Dr Heinrichs was responsible for numerous clinical trials and studies related to wound healing products. Her advisory/administrative role was to support the development and implementation of clinical programs to generate safety, evaluate efficacy and economic outcome data to support reimbursement and sales, and to market new products and new product indications. These included phase II, phase III and phase IV studies (evaluation of products) in various chronic, non-healing ulcers (venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, burns, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds). Products, such as Aquacel, Aquacel Ag, Granuflex, DuoDerm and Kaltostat, arising out of these studies are currently well established in the area of wound care and management. Dr Heinrichs was also responsible for several clinical studies on performance of various ostomy pouch systems and their components. |
