| | | | | | | | | | | | | | About Dr Ram Sundar Kasthuri | Dr Kasthuri qualified in Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India. Following initial surgical training, he obtained Membership (MRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He then pursued specialist training in Radiology and obtained Fellowship (FRCR) from the Royal College of Radiologists, UK. He then spent two years as Fellow in Interventional Radiology in University Hospitals of Manchester, UK. He will start as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist in Glasgow, UK, in August 2007. In addition to his expertise in Non-vascular Interventional techniques, he maintains a special interest in Endovascular procedures and Vascular Embolisation. Dr Kasthuri has a keen interest in clinical research, having published in Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology journals as well as Clinical journals. He has presented in numerous International scientific meetings in UK, Europe and India. He has been actively involved in teaching undergraduate trainees and postgraduate trainees (Radiological and Surgical) throughout his distinguished career. |
