| | | | | | | | | | | | | | About Dr. Linto Jose | Dr. Linto Jose qualified in medicine and subsequently attained a postgraduate diploma in Paediatrics from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India (www.manipal.edu). This was followed by various successful stints as a Paediatrician in esteemed corporate and government institutions in India including the globally reputed Christian Medical College, Vellore (www.cmch-vellore.edu). Dr Jose pursed further training and gained experience in Paediatrics and Neonatology in the United Kingdom National Health Service during which time he worked in the prestigious tertiary neonatal unit in Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, London and in the Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation unit in Freeman Hospital, Newcastle. During this period he also gained membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (www.rcpch.ac.uk) (MRCPCH). Dr. Jose has been actively involved in research and academic activities throughout his career. The research project he undertook on 'Short Synacthen Stimulation Test in the diagnosis of Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia' whilst working in Paediatric Endocrinology at Christian Medical College, Vellore, has been widely acclaimed by his contemporaries. Recently, he authored a research paper on 'Student concern versus Child and Parental Satisfaction'. He is currently employed as a Paediatric Registrar in South Tyneside Hospital England. |
