Following his surgical training from the University Hospitals of South Manchester, UK, he passed the qualifying exams to obtain memberships (MRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. He then undertook a three-year full-time basic science research which led to him being awarded a PhD in Cell Biology from The University of Cardiff, UK. He is now pursuing specialist training in Burns and Plastic Surgery in the UK National Health Service whilst maintaining his research interests in the mechanics of scarring and scarless wound healing. Dr Stuart Enoch is a widely renowned academic and has been actively involved in education and teaching throughout his career (click here). Winner of numerous awards and prizes (click here), he has presented in excess of 25 scientific papers in various conferences in the UK , USA and Europe (click here)and has given invited lectures/keynote speeches in various meetings (click here). He has an excellent track record of publications and he has published more than 40 articles in International Scientific and Medical Journals (click here). He has contributed to chapters in books including the ABC of Wound Healing for the BMJ (click here) and has authored a book for Postgraduate Surgical Exams in the UK (click here).
