Doctors Academy fellowship programmes 

As part of our commitment to support the educational aspirations of students from resource poor backgrounds, Doctors Academy funds scholarship and fellowship programmes globally.  These awards are available to students in various stages of their student lives to enable initiate or sustain their educational needs, be it at a primary school or at University level.  The scholarship programmes are intended for children and young adolescents (<18 years of age) and thus primarily supports their schooling.  Fellowships are awarded to students who are in need of financial assistance to pursue their undergraduate and/or postgraduate university/diploma education.  Fellowship programmes (Manu Fellowships) specifically designed for girls/female students from difficult backgrounds in resource poor nations are also available.  All our programmes are open to students from all parts of the world, irrespective of their nationality, ethnicity or religious background.  The number of scholarships and fellowships will vary year-on-year depending on available funding and demand.

Currently available Fellowships

G.S.Mony Fellowships

This fellowship is available to students from resource poor backgrounds who wish to pursue a University degree or diploma who have previously demonstrated evidence of high academic achievement and/or unique talent or extracurricular activity.  The candidate may pursue their study in a University in their home country or abroad (UK, US, Australia and Canada) if the particular course of their choice is not available in their home country.  If you are one such student (or you know of such student[s]) and wish to apply for this one-year fellowship programme, then please send us the following details. Manu fellowships

This fellowship is specifically aimed at female students from difficult backgrounds in resource poor nations with the aim of providing them with an opportunity to pursue higher education.  It is envisaged that a University degree or diploma would empower such students to lead independent lives, which would also redress the gross gender inequity existing in such societies.  The candidate may wish to pursue the University degree or diploma in their own country or abroad (UK, US, Australia and Canada) if the particular course of their choice is not available in their home country. If you are one such student (or can recommend such candidate[s]) and wish to apply for this one-year fellowship programme, then please send us the following details. Rosamma Medical Fellowship

This fellowship is available to students from resource poor or difficult backgrounds who wish to pursue a medical degree or who are currently pursing a medical degree.  The successful candidate will be expected to have previously demonstrated evidence of high academic achievement or excellence in an extracurricular activity or has a unique talent.  The candidate should pursue their study in a medical college/school in their home country.
